Zaza is a calm, community-focused space. These Guidelines describe the tone we're building together and the behaviour that keeps it safe. They apply to everything you do on Zaza — posts, Pages, Sets, Knocks, Mic Up rooms, comments, and profiles.
Zaza is a digital neighborhood — people, artists, creators and builders sharing real work and real conversation. Assume good intent, respect people's time and space, and speak to others the way you'd speak in someone's living room.
Use a real name or a chosen name that represents you. Don't impersonate other people, public figures, or brands. One account per person, please.
Don't post repetitive promotions, run pyramid schemes, phish for logins, sell counterfeit goods, or scrape Zaza with bots. Genuine sharing of your own work and communities is welcome; commercial spam is not.
If Zaza introduces Marketplace features, users may not buy, sell, trade, advertise, or distribute:
Additional Marketplace policies may be introduced when Marketplace becomes available.
AI-generated or AI-assisted content is permitted on Zaza.
However, users may not use AI tools to:
Users remain responsible for content they publish regardless of how it was created.
Set owners set the vibe. If you join a Set, follow its house rules. If you host a Set, be clear about what belongs and moderate promptly. Set moderators may enforce additional community-specific rules. Private Set content should remain within the Set — please don't screenshot it out.
A Knock is an invitation, not a demand. If someone doesn't respond, let it rest. Unwanted repeated Knocks may be treated as harassment.
Hosts moderate the room. Speakers, keep it kind and let others in. Listeners, use reactions and campfire chat respectfully. Don't record or rebroadcast rooms without explicit permission from everyone speaking.
Zaza welcomes reflections on mental health, grief, and hard days. Please add a short heads-up at the top of a Page or post when your content touches on trauma, self-harm, or crisis, so others can choose when to read.
If you are in crisis, Zaza is not a replacement for professional support. Please reach out to local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Users may not create additional accounts to evade suspensions, bans, feature restrictions, or moderation actions.
Attempts to bypass moderation may result in permanent removal from the platform.
If you see something that breaks these Guidelines, use the report action on the post, profile, message, or room, or write to hello@zazasocial.app. Beta testers can also file reports from the Beta Hub. Reports are handled by a small human team and prioritised by severity.
Depending on severity we may: quietly remove content, add friction to features, suspend messaging, temporarily suspend an account, or permanently ban. Serious violations (child safety, credible threats) result in immediate removal and, where required, reporting to the appropriate authorities.
You can appeal any decision by emailing hello@zazasocial.app.
Zaza is still becoming itself. Rules will evolve as we learn from you. Thank you for helping us build a kinder social space.
